As our Practice Manager, Cassey is one of the driving forces behind making sure Meow Bark runs smoothly each day. Cassey brings organization, compassion, and a steady presence to our team. She is also a proud pet parent to two Boxers, Pudge and Nolan and two cats, Nacho and Peaches.

Outside of the clinic, Cassey enjoys slowing down and spending time with the things she loves most. She believes a good day starts with a very important routine—a trip to Sonic for a Route 44 Diet Coke with easy ice (because max caffeine matters!). When she’s not enjoying her favorite drink, you can often find her gardening, crocheting, spending time with her family, or getting lost in a good audiobook or podcast. She loves true crime, mysteries, and stories that keep her guessing. If she had a magical power, she’d choose the ability to always know the truth!  

Cassey has a soft spot for nostalgia, traditions, and a little bit of fun. She loves musicals and anything from the 90s, cheers on the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys, and still treasures reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom with her three kiddos. Thanksgiving holds a special place in her heart—not just for the memories, but because of course… the food!  Cassey knows the way to a good celebration is through great food.

As one of our receptionists, Jay is often one of the very first friendly faces you’ll see when you walk through the doors at Meow Bark. With her calm, steady personality and genuine kindness, she has a way of helping both pets and their people feel welcome from the moment they arrive.

Jay is also our unofficial Mixmaster, carefully curating the calming music that fills the clinic each day. She believes the right atmosphere can make a world of difference, especially for nervous pets. Her nurturing personality doesn’t stop there—she’s also the caretaker of all our clinic plants, making sure every corner of Meow Bark feels as warm and inviting as possible.

When she’s not helping clients or creating a peaceful environment around the hospital, you’ll usually find Jay with a good book, tending to her garden, or discovering something new. If you’ve visited Meow Bark, chances are you’ve met Tess, with a coffee or matcha in hand, bright blue hair that’s hard to miss, and a smile ready to make both you and your pet feel at ease. Around the clinic, she’s unofficially known as our behavior nerd, and she wears that title proudly! Tess is passionate about Fear Free medicine and is fully dedicated to turning every scared or nervous patient into a fan of coming to the vet.

When she’s not helping pets build confidence, you’ll probably find her hunting for hidden treasures at thrift stores, junk journaling, walking her handsome pup Dozer (or “Dozie” to those who know and love him), or spending time with cats. Halloween is her favorite holiday, comedy movies are always a good choice, and if there’s pizza, pasta, burgers, mac & cheese, spinach dip, ice cream, or a Jersey Mike’s sandwich involved, she’s one happy human.

Tess has a soft spot for sharks, horses, zebras, and dragons, loves just about every genre of music, enjoys flipping through National Geographic, and can never pass up Snickers, Hershey’s chocolate, or Nerds Gummy Clusters. She’s not much of a sports fan, but she’ll happily challenge you to a game of Uno. Blue and teal are her favorite colors, which makes perfect sense once you’ve seen her signature blue hair!

If you’ve called the clinic, there’s a good chance you’ve already met Amber, our calm, reassuring voice on the other end of the phone. With 7 years of experience in the pet care field and working as a receptionist since 2023, Amber has a talent for helping both pets and people feel at ease.

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find her curled up with a good book (the Throne of Glass series is her favorite), listening to Crime Junkie or Morbid, or enjoying her two favorite beverages: coffee and Dr Pepper. Amber loves all things spooky and mysterious, from thriller and horror movies to her favorite holiday, Halloween. She also has a soft spot for Harry Potter.

Her favorite animals are bats, bunnies, and sharks, her lucky number is 13, and if you couldn’t tell from her green hair, green is definitely her favorite color. If she could have any magical power, she’d choose teleportation—mostly because it would make getting places a whole lot easier!
