To provide consistent care for our patients and clients, all team members are expected to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. Specific hours may vary by position, but Saturday availability is required for every role.

Veterinarian

As a Veterinarian at Meow Bark Veterinary, you’ll practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment where your expertise is valued. You’ll build lasting relationships with clients while delivering compassionate care for pets throughout every stage of life.
Veterinary Practice Manager
The Veterinary Practice Manager oversees the daily operations of the hospital, supporting both staff and clients while helping create an efficient, positive workplace. This role is ideal for an experienced leader who enjoys developing teams and improving processes.
- Create and manage staff schedules to support efficient clinic operations and work-life balance
- Coordinate time-off requests, shift coverage, and scheduling adjustments
- Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure an organized and efficient workflow
- Monitor inventory of medical, office, and facility supplies
- Place and track orders while working with vendors and managing costs
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial planning
- Process payroll and maintain employee records and timekeeping
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding
- Serve as a resource for staff, helping resolve workplace questions and challenges
- Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture
- Ensure clinic policies and procedures are followed consistently
- Support training, professional development, and continuous improvement
- Experience in veterinary practice management, healthcare management, or a similar leadership role is a plus
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience with scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and inventory systems
- A leader who balances empathy with accountability
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
Veterinary Technician
As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an essential role in patient care while helping build the culture of our growing hospital. Your knowledge and technical skills will directly support our doctors, patients, and clients every day.
- Gather detailed patient histories from pet owners
- Take vital signs and collect lab samples
- Run in-house diagnostics (CBC, Chem, UA, cytology, etc.)
- Perform dental and full-body radiographs
- Assist in surgery and monitor patients pre- and post-op
- Administer medications and explain discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Experience as a Veterinary Technician (license not required but preferred)
- Strong knowledge of animal handling and care
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Ability to stay organized and multitask
- Compassion and empathy for pets and their humans
- Fear Free certification is a bonus!
Veterinary Receptionist
Our Veterinary Receptionist is often the first person clients meet. In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming experience while supporting both clients and the medical team.
- Greet pet owners as they arrive
- Check in pets for their appointments
- Collect and confirm pet and owner information
- Answer phones
- Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
- Process payments
- Other administrative duties, as assigned
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective and empathetic communication with clients
- Comfortable working with a variety of animals
- Detail-oriented and skilled in verbal and written communication
- Spanish-Speaking and Fear Free certification is a bonus!
- Veterinary experience preferred but not required
